2019 plug-in Ioniq. So I encountered the infamous 12v going bad. Dealer says, yep it’s bad, but can’t help you. The battery has been on backorder for months. I said, so what should I do? They said, don’t know.
Enter the internet. I found a suitable replacement and took pics. It’s smaller than the stock, but so far I’ve had it in for 7 months, works great. It’s an Odyssey Extreme AGM 4A. The main problem is it’s shorter than the stock battery. So I improvised and reused some of the container the battery came in. Photos attached! Pretty easy to do! My cost was $355 at Napa Auto parts
